Here’s what we’re up to with the social lunchbox program.
The Lunchbox is a community program of Memphis Punch and an invitation to get out of your cube, shake up your habits, and break bread with people as awesome as yourself.
Once a month, we bring people together from across Memphis to share a meal, make connections, and enjoy lunch and life just a little bit more
Our first lunch is Tuesday, 3 December 2013. We’re gathering at Envision Memphis, a local fave healthy spot in downtown Memphis.
But that’s just the start! We’ll be getting these on the calendar every month, hosted at small businesses around town and organized by a small band of dedicated volunteers.
We like to keep these events small, friendly, and intimate. To that end, we invite only a handful of folks each time. If you’d like to join in, let us know! Here’s how:
We ask for a small donation to help us cover the cost of lunch. When you RSVP you’ll have an option to throw $10 in the kitty.
We’re working with our fave local food spots to put together tasty, nutritious lunch options. Got a restaurant to recommend? We’d love to know! Just leave a comment on our Facebook page.
Yes! We’re working with volunteer organizers to put together a series of lunchboxes. We’ll provide tools, resources, and guidelines so you can host and organize a fun, inspiring event. Drop us an email (punch @ memphispunch.com) if you’d like to be an organizer.
